A Rolling Studio in Pittsburgh

From the beginning, Hearcorp has been about supporting the artist’s vision, to provide the people, technology and hardware to support Pittsburgh’s artistic community.

The creative community in Pittsburgh is rich and diverse. Over time, we saw a need for a full service technology provider with the ability to deliver the full gamut of creative services: sound, lighting, video and design. We also noticed that much of this high quality entertainment content wasn’t being documented properly, and an idea was born.

What if we could build a remote vehicle purpose built for the entertainment sector?

Build it with the technology necessary to provide a multi camera HD shoot with multitrack audio while delivering a HD web broadcast in real time.

Some parameters were identified:

VIDEO

The ability to lock to external timecode

Six 4K cameras capable of iso recording

HD switching graphics and routing capability

HD streaming over truck housed cellular access points

Capable of being powered by an internal generator

Ability to output program to roof mounted HD video projectors or LED walls

AUDIO

Capable of 48 tracks of 96K audio locked to video
